With the rapid development of electric vehicles, large-scale energy storage, flexible electronics and mobile electronic devices, the demand for high-performance lithium batteries is becoming increasingly urgent. However, Li-ion batteries face material failure, performance degradation and thermal runaway caused by thermal aggregation during service, and the heat/force chain reaction in a fire may induce explosion and other serious hazards. How to realize efficient energy storage and thermal disaster prevention and control of lithium batteries under working conditions, and to ensure material and system safety under fire scenarios have become the core challenges that need to be broken through by academia and industry.
